LVD Systems offers a range of long-life 6U and 3U VPX boards based on high performance Intel processors. Three classes of processor boards are available, optimised for:

  • Server and storage applications based on Intel® Xeon® Processor D-1500 family initially with 8-cores extending up to 16-cores in Q1 2016
  • Compute and I/O intensive applications based on 4 and 2-core Intel® Xeon® E3-1500 v5 and Intel® Core™ processors with built in graphics capability.
  • Lowest power applications based on up to 4-core Intel® Atom™ E3800 processors

VPX boards are available for use in ground benign, extended temperature and rugged environments. Board support packages are available for a range of operating systems augmented with application enabling software and firmware options for security, built-in test and multi-board communications.
